What city has the worst drivers?

One of the frightening things about auto collisions is that you could fall victim to one almost any time you get out on the road. If you have ever been in a crash, you know that they happen quickly and unexpectedly.

Unfortunately, a few of the communities that surround Monmouth County are home to some of the most dangerous drivers in the country. Please read on for a brief look at the statistics, as well as some information about collisions with out-of-state drivers.

According to Forbes, you may want to prepare to avoid a car crash when you see Pennsylvania plates — Philadelphia placed number 11 out of 200 on the worst drivers list. Because many New Jersey residents are accustomed to taking extra precautions around New York license plates when they show up on the roadways, you might be surprised to hear that New York City did not even make the top 15.

Baltimore was the worst, with Washington, D.C., as second and Virginia as ninth. If you were to get into a collision with an out-of-state driver from one of these metro areas, it would probably be a good idea to get as much information as possible about the event.

Make sure that you take photos or notes if possible after attending to any injuries. get the contact information of the other driver, but also you might want to talk to witnesses if any are available. Police investigations are also often helpful as evidence during injury cases. Even attorneys can sometimes perform their own investigations if you call them soon enough. Of course, every situation is different. Please do not think of this as legal advice. Is only meant to inform you about this general subject.
