When a truck collision occurs, the outcome is often devastating. Unfortunately, these wrecks keep claiming lives in Monmouth and across New Jersey and it is imperative for every truck company and driver to do more to prevent them. However, when truck accidents take place, victims need to stand up for their rights and should do everything in their power to recover physically, emotionally and also financially.

An accident which involved three trucks recently occurred on the New Jersey Turnpike and resulted in the death of a truck driver from Delaware. The 37-year-old man who passed away reportedly failed to notice two trucks which had stalled in front of him and struck one from behind. The drivers of the other two trucks suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital.

Three trucks were on fire because of the collision, which occurred at 9 p.m. According to law enforcement officials, the accident is still being investigated and officials want to know what caused the trucks to stall. They also said that they have not issued any summonses at this time.

Whether a distracted truck driver neglects to pay attention to the road or someone operates a truck while intoxicated, there are all sorts of reasons why these collisions happen. Sadly, these crashes can result in tremendous pain and suffering, such as losing a loved one or struggling with a permanent disability. For some truck accident victims, talking to a legal professional is a smart move and can help them receive the compensation they need to move forward.
