When a truck accident occurs, life may never be the same for those involved. From death and permanent disability to lost wages and medical expenses, the consequences of these wrecks can be severe. In Monmouth and throughout New Jersey, people who have had their life turned upside down by truck accidents should remain committed to moving forward after the wreck.

A multi-vehicle crash left one driver hospitalized and prompted traffic delays as fuel that had spilled out of a truck and onto the highway was cleaned up. The accident, which was reported to New Jersey State Police at 2:50 p.m. on Sept. 7, involved two semi trucks and another vehicle.

The collision happened on the eastbound lanes of Route 80 close to Exit 43 and the State Department of Transportation said that the crash caused considerable delays. The cause of the truck accident is still being investigated.

From a serious head injury to long-term emotional pain, it can be very difficult for people affected by a tractor-trailer crash to recover. However, when the negligence of another played a role in an accident, it is imperative for victims to do everything they can to hold those who are responsible accountable and secure the compensation they deserve. For some people, this may include taking legal action and filing a lawsuit. Although going to court may seem stressful to someone who is in this position, consulting an experienced attorney can simplify the legal process and help ensure that victims of these tragedies take the proper course of action.
