Are younger drivers more at risk of causing fatal accidents?

In 2013, the latest statistics provided by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there were 542 total traffic fatalities in New Jersey. Research and crash data would mean that many of these deaths involved younger drivers.

Pedestrian fatalities in New Jersey higher than national average

According to the Department of Law and Public Safety, pedestrian deaths in New Jersey numbered 170 in 2014, more than 30 percent of all traffic deaths in the state. Those statistics put New Jersey well ahead of the national average of 14 percent.
